Pebble Ridge Sewer Project Update – September 06, 2019

In the past week construction installed approximately 300 feet of pipe and set Manhole MH #21 on Pebble Ridge Road between Shady Brook Circle and Stony Lane.  Significant rock outcroppings have been encountered 2-4 feet above invert (bottom of trench).  Erosion and sedimentation controls were checked to protect the creek from runoff and inlet covers were checked.  Meetings with residents in the construction area for lateral location stakes is continuing.  BCWSA and Doylestown Township representatives met to coordinate trench paving and roadway restoration as the Township replaces stormwater pipes in the areas BCWSA has installed sanitary sewer mains.

In the next 2 weeks weather permitting we will expect to install:

  • Continue on Pebble Ridge Road from Shady Brook Circle onto Stony Lane and continuing on the north side of Woodridge.  Approximately 1000 LF of sewer main
  • Manholes #22 and #23
  • The lateral connection stubs for residences on the section of main (if any)
  • The crew will continue to Woodridge as conditions allow
  • Continue meeting with residents to identify lateral location and depth
