Updated: January 23, 2022

HomeServe’s direct customer service number is: 833-354-1084

BUCKS COUNTY, Pennsylvania – July 9, 2021

HomeServeAs of July of 2021, Bucks County Water & Sewer Authority (BCWSA) started offering residential customers a new repair service program to help them save money and time on repairs to the water service line connecting their homes to the utility’s system.

BCWSA’s new partner, HomeServe, is the leading provider of home emergency repair service programs. Residential homeowners can select from among HomeServe’s optional repair plans to cover the exterior water, sewer and in-home plumbing systems that aren’t usually included in their basic homeowners insurance plans.

“It’s not uncommon for homeowners to misunderstand that they are responsible for the service line that connects their home to BCWSA’s water system. The cost of repairs to these lines can easily exceed any ‘rainy day’ funds homeowners have set aside to cover life’s other unexpected situations,” commented HomeServe CEO Tom Rusin. “BCWA’s partnership with HomeServe means its customers can have a little peace of mind knowing if this type of repair is needed, they can count on local, licensed contractors to come to help.”

BCWSA customers will have the opportunity to enroll in several service plan options covering the exterior water or sewer line, in-home plumbing and their water heater. Coverage for HomeServe’s plans range from $4.99 to $11.99 depending on the plan(s) homeowners select. Customers who choose to enroll will be able to pay for the coverage with convenient payment options directly with HomeServe. The program is completely optional, and the coverage can be canceled at any time.

Customers can expect information about the program to arrive in the mail this week, which will explain how to enroll. To learn more, visit www.PlansForBCWSA.com.
